About Tāmaki Home Guide

Tāmaki Home Guide is an Auckland publication that helps homeowners, landlords and small businesses choose and cost trade services: pest control, borer, wasps, house washing, gutters, roof painting, handyman work, healthy homes assessments and garage doors.

It does three things: ranks businesses on public, checkable data with a published method; turns businesses' own published prices into cost guides; and publishes data studies with the underlying data available to download.

The guide is funded by referral fees from some listed businesses and by referral services the publisher has a commercial interest in, as set out on the disclosure page. It does not sell placements or advertising on its lists, and referral services are never part of a ranking.

It is based in Auckland, New Zealand. To report an error or ask a question, see corrections and removals.
